Peter’s Baobab, banana, mango and apple smoothie

What a great start to the day or a post-gym pick-me-up. Full of goodness
and a real pleasure to drink. If, like me, you have a juicer to hand then
make your own apple juice using 2-3 unpeeled apples cut into quarters,
juicing a finger of fresh ginger for some more comforting effect. For 2
  • 1 peeled ripe banana, snap into 4 chunks
  • 1/2 peeled ripe mango, make sure there s none of the stone attached
  • 4 tablespoons Baobab powder
  • 300ml apple juice
  • 250ml chilled soy milk (or regular milk, or extra apple juice)
  • a handful of ice cubes (optional)
Place everything in the blender and whizz for a minute. Drink straight away.
