It’s that time of year again. The Big Freeze, which goes hand in hand with the Big Sneeze. I’m talking about the misery of colds and flu. We’ve all been there, with a raging sore throat, headache, and coughs and sneezes. Being struck down with a cold or flu can be pretty miserable, and somehow has a habit of coinciding with work or family crises, or a much anticipated holiday. Never fear, boabab is here!

Ok, that may not have been exactly what you were expecting, but Africa’s baobab fruit has about six times the vitamin C of an orange. And scientific studies have demonstrated that Vitamin C reduces the severity and duration of a cold. So, next time you’re feeling a little under the weather, reach for a baobab.

You might not find them in your neighbourhood supermarket, but boabab products have been  approved for consumption under EU and US regulations. In the UK baobab products are available from www.yozuna.co.uk, who supply an exciting range of baobab products including jams, a baobab chocolate spread, lemonade and the highly versatile baobab powder which can be added to milkshakes or used to thicken soups and stocks or as a baking agent.  Yozuna products are ethically and sustainably sourced, contributing to the protection of baobab trees and stimulating the rural economy of southern Africa through fair trade.

So why not enjoy some delicious, nutritious and environmentally responsible superfruit products made with baobab. Your immune system will thank you too.
