In the midst of the Health Ingredients Europe show in Madrid, Rosie Abdy Collins – our Baobab guru, found Martin Bauer launching an exciting new Baobab drink. Everyone seemed fascinated by the traditional African stories of this wonderful tree and it’s amazing properties. The market research group Innova lists Baobab in the top 5 new flavours for 2011, alongside rhubarb, vindaloo, chai and coffee berry. They say Baobab has ‘a tart, zesty taste and its flavour is somewhere between grapefruit and tamarind’. Go Baobab!
